Kridemnon = meaning headscarf in Ancient Greek. Ever since ancient times, the scarf has been an accessory that emphasized people’s joys and sorrows. In mythology, the Kridemnon is the scarf that saves Odysseus from the fury of Poseidon and carries him to the land of the Phaeacians. The first series of Kridemnon consists of motifs and embroideries inspired by the tradition of three islands, of Skyros, Crete and Rhodes.
